4 Herb Tea
Essiac is the name of nurse Rene CAISSE spelled backwards.
A Canadian nurse named Rene Caisse first discovered this amazing herbal formula when one of the patients in the hospital where she worked was cured of cancer. The year was 1922! The patient had received the herbal preparation from an Ojibway herbalist. She began to experiment with the 4-HERB formula and found it to be very effective in helping many ailments including cancer. So startling were her results that the Ontario government of Canada became involved. By 1938, Essiac came within three votes of being legalized by the Ontario government as a treatment for terminal cancer patients. Unfortunately her work was destroyed and it took years to surface again.
The herbal formula developed by Rene Caisse back in the 20's is a simple, effective herbal remedy for many ailments. The formula is made up of 4 herbs that are primary Alternative (blood purifying), Hepatic (detoxify and cleanse the liver), and Demulcent (sooths irritaitons and inflammations). The main ingredient, Burdock Root is known to specifically help neutralize toxins in the blood. It also stimulates liver secretions thus helping the liver eliminate toxic compund build ups. It strengthens teh liver and other vital organs with necessary nutrients. For instance, Burdock Root in high in Chromium, iron, magnesium, Silicon and Thiamine and contains many other ingredients such as Niacin, Riboflavin, Vitamin A and Vitamin C to name a few. This is an important difference between chemical drug therapy (allopathic medicine) and natural medicine. The chemical drugs and symptoms therapies that are traditionally prescribed by main stream medicine provide the body with NO nutrients to help the bodies own immune system fight the ailment.
